EU Citizenship Report Summary

Following the publication of the full report, the client requested a summary document, that was short and concise, delivering only the required information.

Solution

Understanding the importance of working within the European Commissions brand guidelines was paramount for the success of this project. The client required this document to be first designed in English, and then translated and laid out in 22 other European languages.

Solution

Each section was co-ordinated using a lead color from the EC guidelines. Allowing each section to be used separately, or as part of the overall summary report.

As this document was translated into 23 European languages, it was very important to ensure the English template was practical and well thought through. As the junior team of designers were then responsible for the layout of 22 European languages.

Solution

The client also required the final deliverables to be made accessible to users with disabilities. The template also required to be made web-accessible. This allows users with disabilities to read or listen to the document using an electronic reader.
